Frequently asked questions
No, the lights are LEDs and will last at least 10,000 hours. For reference, if you have it lit (at maximum brightness) for 4 hours per day, you'll get at least 7 years out of it. If you operate it at full dim, which we like as an accent light, we're not sure how long it will last (we're still testing!), but probably at least 10-15 years.
You're probably using a USB-A to USB-C cable. USB-A can't provide quite enough power to run the lamp at full brightness indefinitely. Try a USB-C wall wart and it should run continuously!
Of course! We proudly stand behind our products, but understand if they aren't exactly what you were expecting. Please refer to our return policy.
Ok, no super famous isntagrammers have asked the question but.... When we started to take pictures of our lamps we noticed a few things.
iPhones and iPads don't like them. We're not exactly sure why... We think our lamps are beautiful. Apple does not.
If you're using a DSLR, try slow shutter speeds (like 1/10 or 1/20), then decrease the aperature to get the desired result. If you need a higher shutter speed take a burst of pictures. One of them will probably look good.
If you're trying to take a picture of more than 1 at a time use a DSLR at 1/20 or slower shutter speeds.
Generally, we've found the Google Pixel does a nice job for general purpose photography if you don't want to get your big camera out.
